I've added a new digital piece in the Digital Gallery. It is a something of a departure from my usual work. I wanted to do the piece as a photo manipulation, but the piece demand to be a digital painting. So, I did what I've never done before and painted digitally. It was a stretch.

I've been a little lax on the updates for this site. The latest addition is a new Propaganda image in the Digital Art gallery.
I'm sort of stuck right now....in an artistic sense. I'm not really happy with my art, but I'm heading into a cool direction. I've not truly made peace with my art. I've been struggling with it [art] for quite sometime. I'm SICK of experimenting...Mostly on the Traditional side of my artistry. I see the direction that I should be going. I find little to no inspiration to guide my endeavors, it's as though I'm plugging towards something different. I don't know...maybe I'm just rambling. Either way, that's where I'm at with my art...the ground floor of something wonderful. If only I can find the elevator.

Welp....It's been a while since last I did anything to cogwurx. I've added a traditional piece and a new digital piece. Hopefully, people can get to them, since the navigation is in flash and I'm not really certain if people can see it. Must do more investigating.

Well, there were a few minor bugs in the site that I missed when I launched a few weeks ago. Hopefully, I caught them all and the site is working properly now.
Today is my 2 year anniversary! Yay! I'm a happy man! As a gift for my wife I made a piece of art, that you can find in the digital section, to commemorate this wonderful occasion.

Well, I'm really happy with this new layout. I really like it. I'm in the middle of another redesign. I plan on redesigning my wife's website, JZ Artworks. Also in the works is new layout for my monthly design project: romesplace.com. I'm not really happy with the layout for this month. Which is good in a way since it's designed to change monthly. There is a lot of new working coming down the pike, I have a lot of art projects that I'm juggling...oil painting, digital/vector work and some Flash work. Fun Fun!

Ah...the dust has settled...sort of. I've finished the redesign, I got rid of a bunch of images, and now I need to start adding 5 months worth of designs.

Ok, I've hammered out a design that I'm happy with. In the next couple of weeks, there is going to be a lot of work being done on this site. I'll be changing a lot and some of the old artwork will disappear.

I've been thinking about redesigning this site. Not sure when it's going to happen, but I think it might be soon. The navigation is a bit hard...I think I need to go functional instead of artsy. Nothing new on the art front. I'm in the middle of two oil paintings, I've got the canvases prepped, but I'm still fine tuning the composition.

Well...not much has been happening in the art scene for me. I put up a new digital piece that once finished I still was reworking. I'm finally happy with it. I also took some time to refit the galleries. I've added the very trending Lightbox 2.0 to the site. Now you don't have to mess with pop-ups. :-]

Well, it is a new year and that usually means some changes. First off, I got rid of my wallpapers/desktop section. I wasn't happy with that artwork any more. I've felt that they were some of my most weakest pieces. I've also tweaked the gallery a bit using the latest trend in picture gallery viewing...i.e. lightbox 2.0. I figure a lot of people might not be seeing my work since I was using pop-ups. However, I may go back to pop-ups since Lightbox doesn't do a good job with descriptions.
