I've added 6 new prints today! Check them out in the Prints section.
My wife and I are finally feeling comfortable in our temporary housing. My art studio is carefully packed awhile, waiting to be unpacked and set up in the new home come January. I was hoping to finish one last painting before we started this moving process but I only got half way through. So no paintings till probably sometime in February. :-[
I will hopefully have some time to do some digital stuff. I'm working on some thumbnails and maybe one of them will stand out enough to be a finished piece.

It's a perpetual state of busy around cogwurx industries. My wife and I sold our condo, so we are packing up everything and moving into temporary housing until we can move into our home that is currently being occupied. So, that means no new paintings until probably February or March when my studio is back up. However, I hope to have some digital stuff up in the meantime once all the craziness dies down with moving.

Well after a 2 month hiatus I finally am able to put something up in the traditional gallery. I have another painting in the works, but not sure when I will have time to get it done. There is just a lot of things going on right now. OY!

I'm taking a small break of sorts, mostly out of necessity. My wife and I have put up our condo on the market and I've had to take down my studio temporarily in order to make this condo look presentable. :-] That's not to say that I won't be doing any more painting, it's just that it's not going to be as frequently. It sort of works out well as I've been a little frustrated with my work. I've felt that I've plateaued and I've been trying to push my work in the right direction, but haven't had the inspiration yet. I've done numerous thumbnails for new paintings but none of them seem to work for me beyond that stage. *sigh* I wouldn't say that I'm having an artistic block, it's more of I want to take my work to the next level but not sure how to go about doing that or the direction to take it.
As a side note, I've decided to do some digital work but that too is taking some time cause I want to do it right. I'm doing a side project/exercise for myself to keep my graphic design skills fresh. I'm going to be making up a branding/packaging style for a product(s) which is something I've never done so it should be quite interesting and frustrating at the same time. I'm almost done with the "poster" ad for the product line.
Anyway, enough rambling.

I've got one more painting waiting to dry and I'll get it posted here shortly. Once that is up it'll most likely be the last painting for a while. My wife and I are putting our home on the market so that's going to be cutting into painting time...though I'm hopping that I squeeze a few paintings in between showings.

I'm in the middle of 3 oil paints right now. They are at a stage right now where I have to wait for them to dry enough for me to start adding some details to them. Hopefully, I'll have the up on the site for all to see in the next month or so.

I've added a new piece in the traditional art gallery. I'm none to happy recently about the photographic representations of my artwork that I've done. Essentially, I'm an awful photographer of my work...I've made peace with that many, many years ago. To remedy this, I've enlisted the help of a photographer friend to retake photos of my most recent work. I will then replace the images that I have on my site with the more professional and better looking pictures.
Taking high quality digital images of my work also means that I have an opportunity to get prints of my work done. I hope to have things available in the next few weeks or so. Stay tune!

I'm working on a new painting...it's something very fresh. It borders on the experimental. I was trying to avoid experimenting artistically and be more intentional with my work, but this latest piece is something different. I'm combining some of the different elements of my all my work into one piece. Hopefully, this is the direction I can take with my work. It's cool to start getting influenced by other peoples work...these are the two main influences for my latest work:
