I'm getting the itch to redo cogwurx.com. I think it will be like the last redo...just a new coat of paint if you will. Basically, I'm keeping the layout but just going to spruce it up a bit, though I think the code base needs to be cleaned up. I'm also going to be removing the flash nav and animations. So it may not be just a coat of paint that I'm doing...okay, I'm rambling...all this to say is that I'm planning on some layout updates to cogwurx in the near....er...semi-near, but not to far future.

Been a busy month in yours truly. I spent it working with Judy Cleland of Cleland Environmental Engineering, Inc., an Indiana firm whose area of expertise is water and wastewater engineering.

I still have my digital painting that I'm working on, but I got side tracked by the robot piece. Once I'm done with the variant I'll be going back to the painting.

Been a bit busy of late, most of it due to the life changes as a result of my first child. I love every minute of it, but every minute this year has been devoted to my little girl. As she's gotten older over this last year I've been getting bits of my time back. However, that also means that personal projects have been non-existent. I have ideas and concepts, but nothing too finalized or put down to even show. I'm hoping that as my daughter has gotten to the one year mark I can begin to do art work again. Not sure when I'll be able to do oils, I may be on a hiatus in that regard due to lack of adequate work space. I don't want my kid getting into those paints. :-] So that leaves me with perhaps acrylics or just going digital with my work. So hopefully, next year you will be seeing some new work.
In the meanwhile, I finally put up Copper Amalgamation in my traditional gallery. It's a painting that I've been really proud of and a new direction for my paintings. I hope to continue with that direction as I feel dynamic compositions is a fun concept to explore. We shall see.

Happy First Birthday to my wonderful Olivia!
Due to me having my first child, things have been a bit slow on the art front. I hope to start producing more work soon. But life with a toddler is a bit unpredictable.
