Ugh. I finished a painting about 2 weeks ago. I've finally added it to my site. It's in the traditional gallery. It was an interesting experience mostly very fun to work with the textures on it.
I've been really trying to push my art in the right direction. I contact a professional painter a few weeks ago and had a great critique/portfolio review with him. It's been a while since I've had a peer review of my work and it has helped me get in the right direction with my work. I've been doing a bit of studying of some of the old masters in design and decorating. I find that my work is leaning towards that "genre" if you will. I really like the idea of my work hanging in someone's home rather than a gallery...though if my work ever ended up in a gallery I wouldn't mind.

Finally! After six months of on and off work on a paint I am done! This is an interesting piece to paint as I had no direction with it. I just sat down one day and decided to just paint what I felt. This was my first real attempt at abstract expressionism. Head to traditional to have a look.

Well, I finally am able to update this bad boy!
It's nearing the end of March, three months since my last update. Ugh! I finally have something to show for the hiatus that this site appeared to be one. Moving and getting settled can put a kink in ones routine.
No new paintings yet. I'm almost done with one...I'm so close I just need for a couple sections to dry and then I can be done and move on to new paints. But that's not what this update is about. No! I've added 4 new websites that I've designed and worked on. They are in the web design gallery. Go check it!

So I moved into my new home over the weekend and as such, my stuff is in shambles and disorganized. There is a lot of work to be done and internet is a bit sparse right now so I can't get to any emails frequently. I'm not ignoring, I just can't effective get to them right now. I should be back up and running in full gear in about a week....hopefully.
